Notes for: Benjamin Day Bodine

Information on this family first came from Rootsweb's WorldConnect site. The submitter was Lynn B. Carl (lcarl at netscape.net). The source used appears to have been the "Genealogy of the Krieger Family" compiled in 1940. It gave his birth year as 1859. I did have another Benjamin D(ay). Bodine in my data who was listed as a son of Gilbert and Sarah A. Bodine - the same Gilbert and Sarah Bodine listed below (see cemetery info) as being buried near a Benjamin D. Bodine in the Old Methodist Cemetery in Lumberton, NJ and who was married to both an A. Cregar and a Frances Cox. Information from a Bodine Branches article had said that Benjamin, son of Gilbert and Sarah, was born and died in 1859. I think this must have been a mistake. He was born in 1859, but the death date must be a mistake. I am going to go on the assumption that the Benjamin D. Bodine I had here as married to Anna Cregar is the same as the Benjamin Day Bodine who was listed in my data as the son of Gilbert and Sarah Bodine. Therefore, based on the new online information from the Old Methodist Cemetery in Lumberton, NJ, I think we can safely say that Benjamin Day Bodine, the son of Gilbert and Sarah Bodine, was born on January 7, 1859 and died in 1929. He was married to both Anna Cregar and Frances Cox. This would need further proof, but I would be my bottom dollar on it.
