Gardey AND Leva Terrell, born 16 Nov 1904 in Independence, Kansas, resident of Angola, Ind., daughter of F. W. Terrell & Elzora Dixon, were married 20 June 1932 by Milo Thompson, J.P.

Leva Bodine, dau. of Frederick Terrell, born 16 Nov 1904 in Independence, Kansas, died 28 Jan 1948 in Battle Creek Twp., Calhoun County, aged 43 years.

Mrs. Leva Bodine, 43, wife of Charles Bodine of 73 Arthur, died at a local hospital at 12:30 p. m. Wednesday of a massive cerebreal hemorrhage suffered a short time earlier while shopping downtown with her husband. When stricken she was taken home in the family car and from there to the hospital where she died shortly after admittance. Mrs. Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Terrell, was born Nov. 16, 1904 at Independence, Kan. and came here in 1917 with her parents. She attended schools here and on June 20, 1932 was married at Angola, Ind. Surviving are the husband and a sister, Mrs. Thelma Lucas of Kalamazoo; her step-mother, Mrs. Alice Terrell ana a step-brother, Frederick Terrell, Jr., both of 117 Glenwood avenue and an uncle, Ransom Terrell of 65 Grant.

Charley Edward Bodine, 44, of Battle Creek, born in Battle Creek, son of Frank Bodine & Myrtle Carve AND Blanche Brace, 43, of Battle Creek, born in Calhoun County, dau. of Edward B. Miller & Nettie Wright, were married 31 March 1949 in Battle Creek.

Mrs. Blanche W. (Miller) Bodine, 67, of 1002 Little Mill Lake, died Thursday in the Springhill Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been ill four years. Mrs. Bodine had lived in the Battle Creek area all her life. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 298 for 40 years. She also was a member of OES 471 of Bedford and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She had attended the Urbandale United Methodist Church. Her first marriage to Fred Hepler ended in divorce. Mrs. Bodine is survived by her husband, Charley; a son, Leon R. Hepler of 1351 W. Columbia Ave.; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Farley Funeral Home.

Charley E. Bodine, 83, a former resident of Docsa Home, died Sunday at Provincial House, where he had been a patient since Nov. 14. He was born in Battle Creek and lived in the area most of his life. He had been employed more than 30 years at Consumers Power's Elm Street steam plant, retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Bedford Lodge 207 F&AM, the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and Bedford Order of the Eastern Star. His first wife, the former Leva Terrell, died in 1948; his second wife, the former Blanche Miller, died in 1973; and a stepson, Leon Hepler, died in 1972. He is survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Farley-Estes Funeral Home. Memorials may go to the American Diabetes Association.
