Myrtle: In 1920 Myrtle was a laundress at Camp Custer in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan. Her son and daughter were living with her. Olive was a music teacher at a music studio. Charles was not working.

Michigan Death Records: Frank Howard Bodine, born 5 Sept 1874 in Mississippi to Benjamin F. and Anna (Eastmead) Bodine; died 3 March 1914 in Battle Creek of a tumor attached to his aorta and backbone.

Mrs. Myrtie B. Bodine, 54, of 73 Arthur, died at a local hospital this morning at 7 o'clock. She leaves one daughter, Olive A. Bodine, and a son, Charles C. Bodine, both at home; a half-sister Mrs. Richard Sandstrum of Maple street road, and a half-brother, Louis Garvey of Urbandale. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from Hebble's chapel with the Rev. Carleton Brooks Miller in charge.

Frank and Myrtle Bodine were buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek, Michigan.
