Notes for: James Housman Bodine

James Bodine was bapt. 17 April 1833 at the Port Richmond Dutch Reformed Church. In 1860, He and his family were living in the 17th Ward of New York City where he worked as a dentist. In 1880, now widowed, he was living in Castleton, Richmond County, in the home of his brother William Bodine and their mother. In the 1886 directory of Staten Island, he is listed as practicing dentistry in West New Brighton.
