East Bloomfield, July 3.---Katharine A. Bodine, wife of John W. Wright, one of the well known residents of this village, died in Porter place, the family home, last evening. She was born in Wellsboro, Pa., January 5, 1839. During the war she went to visit a sister who was the wife of an army surgeon in Kansas, where she met and married Mr. Wright. Soon after the close of the war they removed to Rochester, Mr. Wright's former home, where they lived for many years. Mrs. Wright was an active member of Asbury Methodist Church of that city. Some ten years ago Mr. Wright bought the Porter place in this village, where they have since resided. After coming here Mrs. Wright united with the Congregational Church. The funeral will be held from her late home Monday morning and the interment will be in Mount Hope, Rochester.
