In 1900, Helen Bodine, now widowed, was living with her three sons in Wellsboro, Tioga County. She stated she had been married 33 years and had borne 3 children, all then living. Ellis and Helen Bodine were buried in Wellsboro Cemetery.

Mr. Ellis B. Bodine died at his home in this borough last Wednesday evening of heart failure. he had been in poor health for some time but was able to get about. Early Wednesday evening Mr. Bodine lay down and his wife supposed that he was sleeping until some time after when it was discovered that he was dead. The funeral was held on Friday.

Mrs. Helen M. Bodine, widow of the late Ellis B. Bodine, died at her home in this borough last Sunday afternoon of pneumonia. Mrs. Bodine was born in Charleston and was 55 years of age. She is survived by three sons, Frank, Thomas and Arthur, all residents of this borough. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the house, Rev. A. C. Shaw conducting the service.
