Notes for: Danforth (Daniel) James Bodine

I did have his name as Danforth, but several newspaper articles had Danford. One had James Danford. His name in the 1860 Census of Cayuga Co., NY is Danford J. Bodine. He was one year old. RB has his name as Danforth.

His brother Cornelius C. Bodine's obituary calls him Daniel and says he lived in Baldwinsville, NY.

His parents were listed at FamilySearch.com. He is in the 1880 Census of Niles, Cayuga Co., NY in the household of his father. I believe a grandson listed must be Danford's son, but I'm not sure. The grandson is George C. Bodine, age 11 months, born in NY. Both his parents were also born in NY.

From Ronny Bodine:

In June 1900, Daniel and Stella Bodine lived in Niles, Cayuga County, New York. A farmer, Daniel reported that he and Stella had been married 23 years and their only child, George, lived with them. Danforth and Estelle Bodine were buried in Owasco Rural Cemetery, Onondaga County, New York.
