Notes for: Theodore Goldsmith Bodine

The book Portrait and Biographical Record of Orange County: Containing portraits and biographical sketches of prominent and representative citizens of the county. Together with biographies and portraits of all the presidents of the United States (New York, 1895) says Theodore had been a druggist for the last ten years in Danbury, Connecticut.

Danbury, Conn., Sept. 3. ---Theodore Bodine, one of the best known druggists in Connecticut, died at his home in this city yesterday of general nervous disorders. Ho was 36 years old and leaves a wife. Mr. Bodine suffered financial reverses some time ago and his illness was attributed to that cause.

The will of Theodore G. Bodine of Danbury, Connecticut was written 21 Jan 1901 and names wife Beatrice Burrows Bodine, brother-in-law Claud T. Burrows, sister-in-law E. M. Burrows, and sister Sally A. H. Bodine. Executors are wife and friend Thomas Goldsmith Field. Proved 12 Sept 1901.
