William Bordine, well known pioneer rancher of Cambria, passed away Tuesday evening at his recently purchased home in San Luis Obispo at 1502 Higuera St. Mr. Bordine, a native of Michigan, was aged 68 years old. He came to Cambria in 1890 and had made his home there until he moved to San Luis Obispo about two weeks ago on account of failing health. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Whitacker Bordine, who was a daughter of one of Cambria's early pioneer families; one daughter, Mrs. Huldah Washburn of this city; his mother, Mrs. Huldah Bordine; and a brother, Harry Bordine, both of North Star, Mich.; and five sisters: Mrs. Harry Smith of New York, Mrs. Roy Miller of Flint, Mich,, Mrs. P. E. Drake of Adrian, Mich., Mrs. Howard O'Sullivan and Mrs. Nora Eldred, all of Flint, Mich. Funeral services will be held at C. W. Palmer Mortuary at 2 p.m. Friday under the auspices of Hesperian Lodge, No. 181, I.O.O.F. of Cambria. The remains will be taken to Atascadero for cremation. Friends are requested to omit flowers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice C. Bordine, who died Saturday after a short illness, were held at Palmer-Waters chapel at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. Albert J. Knoll of the Presbyterian church officiated. Mrs. Helen Hathaway sang "Abide With Me," accompanied by Myral Clark at the organ. Cremation followed services.
