Grover was still alive as of December 2000. Bridget Bodine spoke with him on the phone about his family. Bridget said he was 85 years old.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Ringoes. There will be no calling hours.

FLEMINGTON--Services for Mrs. Kathryn E. Bodine, 59, of Kuhl Road, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street. Mrs. Bodine died Wednesday at Hunterdon Medical Center. She was born in Mercer County and lived in Flemington most of her life. Surviving are her husband, Grover Bodine Jr., her mother, Mrs. Mary Holcombe, of Trenton; three brothers, Charles, Orville and Frank Holcombe, all of Hopewell and several nieces and nephews. The Rev. H. W. R. Horsfield, pastor of the Kirkpatrick memorial Presbyterian Church of Ringoes, will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Ringoes. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Flemington.

RARITAN TWP. - Grover C. Bodine Jr. died Thursday, June 6, 2004 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. He was 88. Born in Ringoes to Grover C. and Agnes Hampton Bodine, he lived in Hunterdon all his life. He was a farmer and was later employed by Kuhl Corp. in Raritan Township. He graduated from Flemington High School in 1934. Mr. Bodine was a World War II veteran of the Navy. He was a member of the Flemington American Legion and the Flemington Elks Lodge. His wife, Kathryn Holcombe Bodine, died in 1975. Graveside services in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, will be announced by the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home of Flemington, NJ. It should be noted whereas the foregoing newspaper obituary reported his death on 6 June 2004, the SSDBI gives the date as 3 June 2004.
