Notes for: Karl Louis Partenheimer

Someone may have had his name as Carl, but two descendants now have told me it was Karl. I think "Karl" must be the correct spelling.

Hello!!!!
My name is Juliana Rodger and i have recently come across your site while searching for Partenheimer roots. I am amazed!!!! I have searched so hard for some things and here they are! You have done a wonderful job and I am just about speechless. I am the granddaughter of Norma Partenheimer, who is the daughter of Karl and Mary (Bodine). On your site i found an old family reunion picture, with my grandmother at a few months old. Truly wonderful, and i'm sure she'll appreciate it greatly. Although i must add, my family tree says Karl, and not Carl. haha. Anyway, i do have my family tree with the Bodines dating back pretty far. I have it up to James Bodine and Mary Campbell's parents and grandparents. My grandfather started our family tree back in 1980 before i was born, and he died when i was 7. I'd like to try to fill it in more as much as i can. If you would like any information from me, on any links or dates you may be missing, i would be more than happy to oblige. Also, in respect to Karl (or Carl) Partenheimer, i have his parents and Phillip and Wilhemina Moenkhaus. do you know anything about his mother? i can't find much about it, nor do i have her parents.

How did you get so much work done? Surely you had to have done lots of traveling. I know Grandpa had traveled to Scotland many times to research the Rodger name, only to have doors shut in his face. Luckily, the Partenheimer side was more easy to work with. :-) I just would like to know where to start, and your website has certainly helped fill in some dates and things.

Thank you SO much, and i hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Juliana Rodger
