From Indiana Marriage Records: Robert Bodine and Lottie La Tourette were married 22 Dec 1886 in Fountain County.
The census of June 1900 recorded Robert Bodine as Thomas Bodine, living with his wife and 2 sons in Troy, Fountain County. He reported that in 13 years of marriage his wife had borne 2 children. In Jan 1910, he was Robert M. C. Bodine, 48, with wife Lotta 46, and children Henry C. 21, George C. 9, Mary E. 9 and Grace L. 6. He reported that he and his wife had been married 23 years and of the 7 children she had borne, 5 were living still. In Jan 1920, he was again Robert Bodine, age 57 with wife Lotta 56, and children Henry C. 31, George 19, Mary E. 19 and Maria 16. In April 1930, the family comprised Robert Bodine 68, Lottie 66, Henry 42 and George 29. Charlotte (LaTourette) Bodine was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Cooper) LaTourette.

VEEDERSBURG, Oct. 3.---Services were held today in Covington for Robert Bodine, 82, farmer near here, who died Sunday in Lakeview hospital, Danville. Surviving are the widow, the former Lottie LaTourette; three sons, James, of Attica; George, of Covington, and Henry, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Coffing, Attica, and Mrs. Mary Parkenheimer [sic], Broadlands, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Harry Glascock, Veedersburg.

COVINGTON, Jan. 2---Mrs. Lottie Bodine, 87, died in her home southeast of here Sunday after an illness of four months. Born in Fountain county, she married Robert M. Bodine, who died in 1944. She belonged to the Presbyterian church. Survivors are three sons and two daughters, Henry and George, near Covington, James and Mrs. Grace Coffing, of near Attica, and Mrs. Mary Partenheimer, Sidell, Ill., and a brother, John LaTourette, Covington.
