Notes for: John Bodine

About this John Bodine, son of Garret, FamilySearch says "Chesterfield, of Burlington, NJ" and "of Zanesville, Mskngm, Ohio." It did not have anything there about his wife or children.

Later, I found a John Bodine in the 1850 Census of Greenwich, Warren County, New Jersey. This is the same census that Theophilus Bodine is listed in. I'm sure this John must be Theophilus's brother. I will assume that, but it needs more proof. The John in this census is 45. His wife, Lana, is 45. And they have two children: Sarah (13) and Lana (9). All four were born in New Jersey.

There is a John Bodine (age 65, b. NJ) and a Helena (age 63, b. NJ) listed in the 1870 Census of Dunham Twp., Bucks Co., PA. He is listed as a farm hand there.
