From Genesee County, Michigan Marriage Records:
William H. Bodine, 20, son of Henry Bodine & Clarissa Stevens AND Bertha Williams, 17, daughter of Henry Williams & Henrietta Fenner, were married 4 July 1888.
In June 1900, Bertha Bodine and her son Clarence lived with her father-in-law Henry Bodine in Genesee Township. Bertha reported she had been married 12 years and had borne 2 children of whom only Clarence was living. In April 1910, William and Bertha Bodine lived in the home of his father Henry with their 17-year old son Clarence. On 21 Dec 1916 in Jackson County, MO, Bertha Bodine, 45, of Mt. Morris, Genesee County, MI married John W. Noble, 50, of Pierceville, Finney County, Kansas, with whom she was living April 1930 in Genesee Township. In April 1940 she was widowed and still living in Genesee Township and in 1954 was living in Flint, Michigan as Bertha Noble, widow of John W. Noble, per the Flint City Directory.
