Notes for: Effie ("Tick") Bodine

Samuel Joseph Bodine said that Effie and Eva were always known as Tick and Hoggum. He's not sure where they got these names, but they may have come from their nursing habits.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Riley. My great grandmother was Effie "Tick" Duncan. She raised my father, who was actually her grandson, Joe Edward Albright. His mother was Wanda Sue Duncan. I have information for all of Effie's family, including Lonnie Joe Duncan, Sr's family and Wanda Sue Duncan's family. I would be more than happy to share the information if you are still working on this project. My dad passed away unexpectedly in Dec. 2004 at the age of 62. I am so glad that I found this website. It is so interesting to look at.
