I am looking for further knowledge on Cynthia Francis Bodine m. 1881 Warren Co., TN to James Finis Allison. She was burried in the Mt. Zion Cem. in Warren Co. The children were Isabelle Allison, Emma Allison, Hattie Pearl Allison, OCTAVIA ALLISON. I have found in a book that Octavia Allison was the great grandaughter of Cynthia Cosson and George Gillis. George died in the war of 1812.Cynthia remarried Rev. Biles in Warren Co. 1829. I would like to know who Cynthia Francis Bodine parents were. Thank you. Connie Kelly

After Henry Clay Simpson Died she married: James Allison and had four more children (all girls): Hattie Allison, Octa, Emma, Isabell

I found that Thomas Bodine married a Harriet GILLIS Searcy, in Tennessee, Clarksville, Montgomery County. They had a minimum of two children - A Mary Bodine and Cynthia Fredonia Bodine. Harriet Gillis married ? Searcy first, Then Thomas Bodine, and after he died she married a William Stephens (also in Clarksville, TN. When all of the husbands died, she moved to McMinnville, Warren County and lived with her mother Cynthia Cosson, and Daughter, Cynthia Fredonia Bodine Simpson reference 1860 Original Census - you must loof on the original because it was not transcribed correctly.

Looking for the parents of Cynthia Fredonia Bodine, I have her maternal grandmother as Cynthia (Cosson) Gillis Biles, I need her mother and father - Tennessee is the state as far as we can tell. Cynthia Fredonia was born: October 03, 1846 and died August 31, 1927, her grand mother Was a Cosson, and married George Gillis first and had many children - of which Cynthia Fredonia's mother must have been one of. We show her living her grandmother in an 1850 census. no record of her parentage has been found to daye. Please any help is appreciated.
