On 16 Oct 1940, Lester Clifford McCullough of Lansdowne, PA, registered for the draft. He reported he was born 28 March 1912 in Philadelphia and named his wife, Grace Rebecca McCullough, as his next of kin.

Lester C. McCullough was born 29 March 1912 and died 2 Feb 1971. He was buried in St. James Church of Kingsessing, Philadelphia County. He served in the US Army from 9 March 1944 to 14 April 1946 and was discharged with the rank of T/5. [Note: US Dept of VA notes his birth as 28 March 1912.]

Grace B. McCullough, 84, of Quakertown, formerly of Neshaminy, Bucks County, and Lansdowne, Delaware County, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, at home. She was the wife of the late Lester C. McCullough. She was a statistician in the labor relations department of Acme Markets, Philadelphia, before retiring in 1979. Born in Colwyn, Delaware County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Olga (Weigelt) Bodine. Survivors: Son, Les of Philadelphia; daughter, Lynn Hughes of Quakertown, and four grandchildren.
