Notes for: David Frederick Bodine

From Ronny Bodine:

From The Sunday Herald (Chicago, Ill.) of Sunday, 9 Sept 1979
Innocent joke ends in death.
It was a good natured prank. Fifteen-year-old David Bodine was cleaning up the results of his own mischief Saturday when the laughter stopped. Bodine, a Palatine High School sophomore, was electrocuted Saturday afternoon when he touched a power line as he tried to remove the toilet paper from a tree he and some friends had "teepeed" the night before. He died in the effort, 12 days after his 15th birthday.
