John "Jack" Faddis passed away in the company of his extended family on Aug 14 2015. He was born June 1, 1923 in Almy, the third son of John and Annie (Holmes) Faddis. John, a veteran of WWII served his country until receiving an honorable discharg in 1945. John was employed by the First National Bank for over 40 years. John's first and most enduring love was ranching and raising animals including his favorite furry children, Lady and Goldie. John was married to Linda (Ashwood) being enveloped by her love for 40 years. John is survived by Linda, John, Chris and Goldie. John was preceded in death by John, Annie, Robert, Hubert and Hazel. The family would like to express gratitude to the friends, family, and neighbors who quietly and selflessly served John and Linda allowing them the dignity of remaining in their home as the process of aging limited their physical capabilities. The family would also like to express gratitude to Carrie of Best Home Health & Hospice whose love and compassion is boundless. There will be a viewing at the Crandall Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 10:00 am followed by 11:00 am graveside services at the Evanston City Cemetery.
