From Indiana Marriage Records: Wallace Bodine married Arabelle Grimes on 24 Sept 1876 in Fountain County.

Lewis Bodine lived all of his life in Wabash Township, Fountain County, Indiana. In June 1900, he reported having been married 23 years and in April 1910, 34 years and in both cases all 3 of his children borne by Arabella were living.

L. W. Bodine, 74, prominent farmer living south of Covington, died at his home Friday evening Jan. 22, 1937 at 4 o'clock, after several years of ill health. He was born within a half mile of his present home, April 1, 1852, the son of John and Caroline Brewer Bodine, and is survived by his wife, Arabella; three sons, Mont, of Robinson, Ill., and Mahlon and Richard, living near Covington; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph, Jess and Manford, of near Covington; and one sister, Mrs. Rena Hathaway of Cayuga. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home of the son, Richard, seven miles south of Covington, conducted by Rev. O. W. McGaughey, of Veedersburg, with burial at Mt. Hope cemetery at Covington.
