Dr. Charles Elliott BoDine, 42, ex-resident of Portland and a practicing physician at Bangor, Me., died at Brewer, Me., Wednesday from a heart ailment. Dr. Bodine was born in Douglas, Wyo., July 14, 1906, and moved with his parents to Portland. He graduated from Jefferson high school and the University of Oregon. He received his medical degree at Tufts in Boston. He interned in the Eastern Maine hospital at Bangor and practised there for several years and was a surgeon on the staff of the hospital. During the war he served with the army medical corps in Oklahoma. His father, Dr. C. D. BoDine, was one of the founders of the Portland BoDine-Cantril clinic. Survivors include: The widow, Dorothy R. BoDine, a daughter, Mary Louise BoDine and a sister, Mrs. Filmer W. Carter.
