The Alcott family was living 1860-1870 in Camden, Camden County, where Logan was engaged as a charcoal dealer. In 1880, Elizabeth Alcott, widow, was living in Camden, Camden County. Her household included, among others, her sister and brother-in-law, Emeline and Micajah Bates. Elizabeth Alcott's age, in the censuses of 1860, 1870 and 1880 was respectively 40, 49 and 59. Logan Alcott was elected to the first board of stewards of Broadway Methodist Episcopal Church in Camden on 30 May 1854 and then to the board of trustees. He left a will filed in Camden County in 1874 (New Jersey Wills 1308D).

Children: Emeline (c1846), William (c1848), Daniel (c1849), Mary (c1851), Nicholas (c1853), Charles (July 1857).
