Elizabeth 'Betsy' Warner was named in her father's will of 8 June 1821. Mary Elizabeth Sinnott in her 1905 "Annals..." named her husband as Stephen Warner, brother of William Warner, husband of Betsy's sister Mary. Stephen Warner is evident in the 1830 and 1840 censuses of Burlington County as a resident of Springfield Township, near to where his brother William was living. The death of Stephen Warner was reported in the New Jersey "Mirror" of 29 Aug 1844 where it noted he died at an advanced age.

Will of Stephen Warner of Springfield Township, Burlington County of 12 Aug 1844 names wife Elizabeth Warner, son Francis B. Warner, daughter Sarah Evans, wife of David Evans and Mary Gaskill, wife of Charles R. Gaskill. Executors are wife Elizabeth and son Francis. The will was proved 2 Sept 1844.

On 25 Aug 1848, Francis B. Warner was appointed administrator of the estate of Elizabeth Warner who died intestate. On 20 Nov 1849 he submitted his final account, valuing the estate at $353.9 1/4.
