Notes for: James Burdine / Bodine, Sr.

Most of the information on this family, their children and grandchildren came from the new LDS site at www.FamilySearch.com. There it listed the submitter as a Allen Dale Egbert, 4596 West 5015 South, Kearns, UT 84118. Elizabeth Brady told me that James was also known as a Burdine in "Staten Island Church Records" by Tobias Wright.

The Britton genealogy says he and Elizabeth's children and grandchildren are listed on a loose paper in a Bible at the Staten Island Institute of Arts and Sciences (Britton, p. 34).

Her tombstone at New Dorp Moravian Cemtery says this:
In Memory of
ELIZABETH
wife of
James Bodine
who died
Sept. 1795
Aged 35 years
