Subject: Your work on the Bodine family geneology

Hello Dave,

I'm Tom Bodine. Several months ago I was visiting a friend in California and he accessed the Bodine family tree which you had posted at freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com. When we saw my grandfather's name in it, Paul Jasper Bodine, and his children (my aunts and uncles), I was amazed. For many years my family line has been a mystery to me. My aunts and uncles remember hardly anything at all about their family. If your information is correct about my father, and I imagine it is since you have done so much work, then he didn't even know where he himself was born. I only saw that page on my friends monitor and can't remember now what his birthplace was listed as, but it wasn't Bonham, TX, which is where my dad said he was born...

By the way, for me this is really curious communicating with other Bodines since my whole life long I have never met a Bodine or had contact with a Bodine who wasn't my Grandfather, Father, Uncle or Cousin. I wonder who's out there who is a close relative that I don't know? This is great stuff!

Thanks for all the hard work.
Tom

p.s. My dad was George Willis Bodine (b. May 18, 1918)
