On 22 Sept 1918 at Columbus, Cherokee County, Kansas John Orval Lackey, born 4 Sept 1882, miner, registered for the World War I Draft. He reported that Dolly Lackey, of Treece, Kansas was his next of kin.

Mrs. Zolie Clayton of Wichita was named as a surviving sister of Grace Bodine Hetherington in the latter's newspaper obituary of May 1943 and as Mrs. Zollie Clayton of Wichita, Kansas in the obituary of her brother Edward in Jan 1944. The 1943 Wichita, Kansas City Directory lists Mrs. Zollie Clayton and that of 1946 lists Zollie Clayton, widow of Charles.
