John and Emma Bodine were living 1900 in Galena, Jasper County where John worked as a miner. In 1910, the Bodine family was living in Dewey, Dewey County, Oklahoma, 1920 in Dawson, Dewey County and in 1930, John and Emma Bodine were living in Taloga, Dewey County. John and Emma Bodine were buried in Oakley Cemetery, Dewey County.

TALOGA, July 2---Services for Mrs. Erma A. Bodine, 76, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist church here. Burial will be in Oakdale cemetery, under direction of the Spies-Shaw funeral home of Seiling. Mrs. Bodine, a pioneer Dewey county resident, died Tuesday in the Clinton hospital. She was born in Dexler, Texas in 1875 and moved to a farm southeast of here in 1909. Since 1925 she had lived in town. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include a son, Rolland Bodine, an Indian missionary in Arizona, a half-brother and four half-sisters.
