In June 1870, Thomas and Margaret Moore lived in Richland Township, Steuben County, Indiana. Thomas Moore must have died soon after as in 1872 Margaret married Lafayette E. Thomas.

In June 1900, Enos and Margaret Thomas lived in Lancaster Township, Wells County, Indiana engaged in farming. The couple reported having been married 28 years during which time Margaret had borne 4 children, all then living. In April 1910, the couple lived in Pleasant Township, Steuben County, Indiana. They now reported having been married 38 years, that this was his 1st marriage and her 2nd, and that their 4 children were still living. In Jan 1920, the couple lived in Jamestown, Steuben County. In April 1930, Margaret Thomas gave her age as 80 and that she had 1st married at the age of 21. In the 1908 marriage record of their son Floyd Thomas and the 1925 marriage record of their son Clyde Thomas, their parents are named as Enos L. Thomas and Margaret Bodine.

From Indiana Death Certificate of Margaret Elizabeth Thomas, widow, born 2 Aug 1849 in Indiana, dau. of Wesley & M. (Silver) Bodine, died 19 March 1939 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, and buried at Angola, Indiana. Informant was Mrs. T. H. James of Fort Wayne.
Children: Clyde W. (April 1883), Floyd L. (20 Feb 1888).
