VISALIA, Tulare Co.--The rosary will be said tonight at 7:30 o'clock in the Hadley Funeral Chapel for George C. Bodine, 58, who died yesterday in a Visalia hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 9 AM in St. Mary's Catholic Church here. The Rev. Charles O'Mahony will officiate and burial will be in the Visalia Catholic Cemetery. Bodine was a native of Ridgewood, Minn., where he attended schools. He moved to Visalia with his family in 1919. He attended the Visalia High School. He married the former Mildred Schoen in 1937 and was engaged in ranching for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons, Michael of Fort Ord and Gary of Visalia; a daughter, Georgia Ann of Visalia; six brothers, Jim of Cayucos, San Luis Obispo County, Earl of San Jose, Ray of Tulare, Paul of Porterville, Leo of Lindsay and Tony of San Luis Obispo; and five sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Bellefuille and Mrs. Zeta Kleinhans both of Visalia, Mrs. Eva Foucht of Exeter, Mrs. Charlotte Spencer of Santa Paula, Ventura County, and Mrs. Janice Engelking of Merced.

WORD has been received here of the Aug. 29 death of Mildred Bodine, former Aberdeen resident. Services were Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Visalia, Calif., where she had been residing. Mildred Schoen was born at Aberdeen to Henry and Ida Schoen. She married George Bodine on July 3, 1937. He died in December, 1961. She has been making her home at Visalia for several Years. Survivors include two sons, Gary, of Visalia; and Michael, of Modesto, Calif.; one daughter, Georgiann, of Visalia; one sister, Geraldine Wilson, Scottsdale, Ariz.; one brother, Earl Schoen, Warner; and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and two sisters.
