BODINE, Arthur Jasper, 71, died January 22, 1982. Husband of Gwen Bodine, father of Arda Hernandez, Miami, AZ, Shirley Walker, Tucson, and Bill Bodine of Utah; brother of Carl Bodine, Parley Bodine, Glena Bontharyse, all of Utah, and Nora Picking, CA; also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Bring's Broadway Chapel. Interment will be in the Latter Day Saints Cemetery in Pima, AZ. Friends may call at the Chapel from 6 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 1982. Arrangements by Bring's Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway.

Arthur Bodine AND Loraine Carter, both of Graham, Arizona, were married 8 Dec 1928 at Clifton, Greenlee County, by J. B. Kline, J.P.

In April 1930, Arthur Bodine was a resident of the Gila County Jail, Globe, Arizona. His wife, Lorraine, was living with her parents in East Miami Township, Gila County. Edda (Carter) Bodine was the daughter of Albert and Edith Elizabeth (Norton) Carter. Arthur and Edda Bodine were buried in Pima City Cemetery, Graham County.

CLAYPOOL---Services for Mrs. Loraine Bodine, 53, who died Thursday at Superior, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lower Miami. Burial will be in Pima Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. A native of Glenbar, Mrs. Bodine had been a Claypool resident for 52 years. Mrs. Bodine is survived by a son, Bill Bodine, of Ontario, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Arta Hernandez of Claypool and Mrs. Shirley Walker of Salmon Wells; a brother, Irvin Carter of Clifton; another brother living out of state; and 13 grandchildren.

Jean Leonard Bodine, age 91, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home January 26, 2003. Born November 14, 1911 to William H. and Annie E. Luce Leonard in Huntington, Utah. Married Woodrow Noyes Hoover in 1936. After her husband's death in World War II, she became a "Gold Star Wife" and rode in some parades. Jean was an active member and 1st Lady of Post 112 in Murray, Utah. Jean taught school to support her children after her husband's death. She worked for Ford Motor Co. in Colorado, and retired from Potter Investment in Salt Lake City. Jean was the last of 14 children. Survived by her daughter, Nan (Robert E.) Russo; grandchildren, Tony H. Wood, Gordon L. (Sherry) Wood, Pamela Jean (Rodney) Henderson and Eric R. Olsen; 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband in 1944; son, Woodrow F. Hoover and 13 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2003 at 11:00 a.m., at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vista Care of Ogden.
