At a nuptial mass this morning in St. Philip's Church, Clifton, Miss Joyce Vetri, of Clifton, became the bride of John J. Bodine, of North Arlington.

Joyce (Vetri) Bodine is the daughter of Gino Santo and Antonia (Domino) Vetri.

John Joseph Bodine, 80, of Palm Coast, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Stewart F. Meyer Hospice House. John was born in Jersey City, N.J. and lived many years in N.J., Virginia and retired to Florida. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. John was a multi-degreed graduate of Seton Hall University and enjoyed his public school career as a teacher and retired as an Education Administrator. He was musically talented and loved to write music and poetry. John was a member of St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church and 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He served as President of the Palm Coast Computer Club for many years. John was predeceased by his parents, Eleanor and John Bodine and sister, Jean Bodine McDowell. He is survived by his partner, Dorothy Mancinelli; daughter, Kathleen Bodine of Orlando; sons, John Bodine of New York and Michael Bodine of Maryland; sister, Lorrain Sales; granddaughter, Jessica Herald; and great grandson, Kristopher Herald. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church. Family will receive friends in the Memorial Room on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 10:00am until service time. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rebecca Peck, his Primary Care Physician and the many caring Specialists involved with John's expert care. "For your Faithful, O Lord, Life is merely changed not taken away."
