Ellen was the wife of Andrew's brother, George Henry. You have the information about her in your dataset. It's odd, though, because she allegedly married again, in 1897, to Ben Mossel -- but I can find no trace of him or her in the 1900 census. More research is needed!

In 1900, Andrew Bodine and his family lived in Cheshire, Allegan County, Michigan engaged in farming. He reported that in 17 years of marriage his wife Mary had borne 5 children, all then living with them. In 1910, the couple reported Mary had borne 8 children of whom 7 were then living. Mary (Hayes) Bodine was the daughter of Alonzo and Hannah Hayes. Andrew and Mary Bodine were buried in Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Township, Allegan County.

BLOOMINGDALE, Feb. 25---Andrew Bodine, 87, who was for many years a well known resident of Cheshire township, died this morning in Plainwell. He went there to live a year ago. He was born in Jackson, Sept. 17, 1856, the son of Abraham and Sarah Bodine, and came to Cheshire with his parents as a boy. There he resided until about one year ago when he went to Plainwell. Mr. Bodine married Mary Hayes April 29, 1883. She died 12 years ago. He leaves six children, Mrs. Sarah Wilkinson, of Cheshire; Mrs. Hannah Austin, Hopkins; Earl, Ralph and Paul of Otsego, and Ray of Ceresco. There are two brothers, William in Montana, and John in Hopkins. There are 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The body is at Wickett & Pecks funeral home in Bloommgdale, where friends may call. Funeral announcement later.
