Marvin K. Bodine, born 8 April 1924 in Taylorsville, KY, a resident of Louisville, KY, son of William Leon Bodine & Edith Moore AND Betty Jean Halbritter, born 8 Feb 1929 in South Dakota, a resident of Taylorsville, KY, daughter of Alford Halbritter & Leoria Meir, were married 25 April 1947 by Thomas Knight, J.P.

Note: Betty Halbritter was actually born 8 Feb 1932 as evidenced by the 1935 South Dakota census wherein she is 3 and the 1940 Federal census wherein she is 8. The Social Security Administration recorded her birth as 8 Feb 1932 and death on 10 Jan 2005 as Betty Settles. She was divorced from Marvin Bodine, married 2ndly a Searcy about 1953 and 3rdly a Settles about 1977.

BODINE, SUE "SUSIE" VANCE DAY - age 84 of Knoxville, TN passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Mercy Residential Hospice. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky to parents Raymond Woods Day and Johanna Doyle Day and was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Marvin Kenneth Bodine and son, Clifford Kenwood "Ken" Bodine. A private family gathering will be scheduled at a later date. Marvin K. Bodine's death was reported to the Social Security Administration as M. K. Bodine and it seems likely he died in Knoxville, Tennessee which was his home. There is no known newspaper or funeral home obituary.
