Margaret "Peg" Maloney 88, Brownsburg, died Sept. 19, 2007. She had been an elementary school teacher in the Brownsburg Schools from 1968 to 1978. She spent her childhood in St. Mary of the Woods Village and also attended St. Mary of the Woods College, received her undergraduate degree from Marian College and her master's degree from Butler University. She was also a US Navy veteran of WWII serving in the Health Corps. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church. Her husband Bernard "Bud" Maloney and sister Mary Cecilia Dolan preceded her in death. Survivors include son Gary Maloney (wife Carla); daughters Tina Maloney, Mary Maloney (husband Mark Hochstetler), and Ellen Case (husband Chris); 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10am Tues. Sept. 25 at St. Malachy Church, with visitation from 4-8pm Mon. Sept. 24 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial will be at St. Malachy Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Malachy Church Building Fund or St. Mary of the Woods College.
