Paul LaVerne Welton, of Xenia, Ohio, factory worker, age 19 on 2 Aug 1953, native of Bridgeport, Ill., son of Hershel Welton & Lela Drake AND Janet Eileen Bodine, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, secretary, age 21 on 15 June 1954, native of Yellow Springs, daughter of William H. Bodine & Vivian Gasho, 1st marriage for both parties, were married 7 Aug 1954 in Xenia, by Rev. Gordon E. Tatman.

Miss Janet Bodine, 39, Louisville, Ky, who was secretary to R. J. Warner when he was superintendent of Xenia schools, died in a traffic crash in Louisville about 9 Friday night. Miss Bodine, who made her home at 3403 Shanks Ln. in the Kentucky city, was employed by GSIT Insurance Co. there. She was born in Xenia June 15, 1933, and was graduated from Central High School. Her parents, William H. (Hutch) and Vivian Gasho Bodine, now of Goes, survive, as do two sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Donna) Randall of New Knoxville and Mrs. Clifton (Marilyn) Ashly of Xenia, and a brother, Leslie Bodine of Xenia. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Foreman's Funeral Home, Louisville, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Jackson-Lytle & Coffman Funeral Home, 332 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Place of burial has not been determined.
