BODINE, DELMA (POYNTER), 93, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2005, at Jewish Hospital. She was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson of 45 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Bodine. She is survived by one sister, Violet A. Schafer; and ten nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, at O. D. White & Sons, 2727 So. Third St., with burial at noon Tuesday, at Portland Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Edith M. Harp, 51, of 925 E. Main, died at 2:45 a.m. yesterday at Kentucky Baptist Hospital. She was a native of Franklin County, Kentucky. Survivors are her husband Harry Harp; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Moore; three sons, Ellis Harp, Harry Harp, Jr., and Kenneth Bodine; a brother, Marvin Moore; two sisters, Mrs. Weona Boston and Mrs. Mary C. Moore, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Heady Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ky.

2nd marriage--1946--EVA TAYLOR.
William L. Bodine, of Louisville, truck driver, divorced in 1927, born 31 March 1904 in Nelson County, KY, son of Wm. S. Bodine & Mary E. Thomas AND Eva Hardin, of Louisville, presser, divorced in 1942, born 5 Feb 1908 in Anderson County, KY, daughter of J. L. Taylor & Cordie McKinley, were married 16 Nov 1946 by C. E. Parsley, J.P.

From Indiana Death Certificate of Eva May Ludwick, widow, born 5 Feb 1909 in Jefferson Co., KY; died 2 Sept 1999 in Clarksville, Clark Co., IN; parents unknown. Buried in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, KY. Informant was Kent Hardin, son, of Fairdale, KY.

Eva May Ludwick, 90, died Thursday at Westminster Terrace in New Albany, Ind. She was a Baptist. Survivors: sons Kent and Stan Hardin; daughters Matha Downs and Lena Robenet; nine sisters; and two brothers. Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Burial: Cave Hill.

Note: That Eva Ludwick is identical with Eva Taylor Bodine is confirmed by the obituary of Edith Taylor Drexler, 80, in The Courier-Journal of 3 Dec 1986 in which her survivors include a brother, Luther Taylor and sister Eva Ludwick of New Albany, Ind. Also, in 1910, Eva Taylor, age 2, lived in Rutherford, Anderson Co., KY with her parents James L. & Caroly Taylor and siblings Luther, 6 and Edith, 4.

3rd marriage--1962--DELMA POYNTER.

William L. Bodine, 72, of 1700 Bolling Ave, died at midnight Sunday at Jewish Hospital. He was a native of Nelson County, and had been a truck driver for Federal Express. He is survived by his wife, the former Delma Poynter; a son, Marvin K. Bodine, and one grandchild. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at D. J. Dougherty & Son Funeral Home, 1118 S. Third St., with burial in Portland Cemetery.
