Notes for: Anna __________
Not enough is known about Anna, the wife of Francis Bodine, but she must have been a young woman to have had children by her husband, who was approaching 50 years of age. A copy of his will states that she was to get the original tract of land as long as she remained his widow or to the end of her natural life. A visit to that area of Sevier County, Tennessee was made by Thomas and Barbara Bodine of Boaz, Alabama. They found the area on Flat Creek where the land grant described his property. There is an old church and cemetery nearby that probably has their remains in it. Most of the graves had rocks for headstones.
